Each session is interdisciplinary, and features lectures and discussions with distinguished Yale faculty, elective seminars on a wide variety of topics, small-group projects tailored to students' interests, and complementary activities such as simulations, career discussions, and tours of Yale. Summer 2014 applications are now available online and are due February 20. Students currently in U.S. grades 10 and 11 (or international equivalents, usually ages 16-17) are eligible to apply. Admission is competitive, and we look for students with strong academic preparation, intellectual ability, and leadership potential, as well students who will be active and engaged in the YYGS community. At the time of application, students may apply for need-based financial assistance.
